I captured this Rhododendron flower close-up at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden in Federal Way, Washington.  This Botanical Garden is an amazing place to visit – and is home to one of the largest collections of species of rhododendrons in the world. Isn’t this a magnificent color!?!?!

Snow Spiral

Snow Spiral, Renton Washington, USA

Just back from Maui, Hawaii, USA, I had great plans to share Hawaiian island photographs with you.  But we were in for a surprise when we returned home.  Seattle has had record snowfall since our arrival – we have received more snow within a couple of days than we receive all year.  Locally we have had almost ten inches with more snow forecasted today!  While having fun in the snow, I captured this frosty close-up of a windmill in our backyard.  Isn’t this a beautiful “snowflake”!?!?!
