Sunrise, Mt. Rainier, Washington, USA has an elevation of 6,400 feet, and is the highest point that can be reached by vehicles at Mount Rainier National Park. We were fortunate to drive up, on a beautiful sunny day, just before the main highway was closed for the winter. Although I was totally scared to death because I am afraid of heights, I held my breath and stood high on a stone wall with my trusty tripod. Luckily my husband also held onto me tight so I wouldn’t fall! I was able to catch this amazing shot. Isn’t this an incredible landscape?!?!?!
